Scope

Manson have been specifying and supporting the use of mastic asphalt in there plant rooms and podiums for many years due to the ease of application, ability to detail to complex shapes and robust nature of the finished product. This large project was no different.

Solution

Asphaltech were to install mastic asphalt to the plant rooms once again. Asphaltech carried out the bulk of the detailing work to allow the roof plant and equipment to be installed and continually came back to install new mastic asphalt over new plinths for plant and equipment throughout the next 2 years. That is the benefit of mastic asphalt it is so easy to stage the product and join it into existing mastic asphalt. We worked closely with Manson to come up with different details to the numerous plinths and cables that are detailed on a plant room.
