Scope

Mastic Asphalt Roofing was selected for this contract due to its superior qualities and its ability to be laid at a low degree of fall. It was applied to the level 7 balcony area at an early stage of construction. This enabled other trades to complete their work without the risk of water penetration affecting their products.
Due to a lack of space during construction the finished mastic asphalt was used as a loading platform for storage of material and equipment for other areas of the contract. This highlights the superior durability and waterproofing qualities of the material used.
